I grew up in Fallbrook, a small town near Camp Pendleton in northern San Diego County, where I received an extraordinary education from my public schools. I studied history at UCLA, and went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University.
Four years ago I moved with my family to rural Deschutes County southeast of Bend, where my husband grew up. Since then I have worked for St. Charles providing primary care to people across the lifespan, from infants to seniors. I am a member of the St. Charles Medical Group Board of Directors, and I serve on the Bend-La Pine School District Budget Committee.
My husband and I have two children: Our daughter is a first-grader at Jewell Elementary (Go Jaguars!); our son attends preschool at Inspire Early Learning and receives early intervention services through the High Desert Education Service District. On the rare occasion I can carve out free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and running.
